Charlies Place

An attractive and sheltered outdoor eating and entertaining area, Charlie’s Place includes a large BBQ and a wood-fired pizza oven. Available for groups of 6 or more, everything is provided, including the food, for you to enjoy a fun evening of cooking and relaxing with your friends and family. We are not currently licensed to serve alcohol, though you are welcome to bring your own.

Private Kitchen

For guests staying long term, we can offer a fully equipped kitchen for your own use.

Dark Skies Site

With our idyllic rural location enjoying extremely low levels of light pollution, Hope Mountain Retreat is a fantastic place for indulging in a spot of night sky gazing. We also have our very own Dark Sky Box for guests to use whilst staying with us.

Events

Hope Mountain Retreat offers a range of day and weekend courses and workshops run by local businesses, hand-picked by Jo and Rob for their expertise. Each one is individually tailored and fully catered by Jo, serving delicious homemade food and refreshments, locally sourced wherever possible. We are continually adding to our list, so if you are interested in running a course or event of your own, please do get in touch.

Parties

Hope Mountain Retreat is a great place to hold your private celebration! Our versatile indoor and outdoor spaces are perfect for baby showers, birthday parties, stag and hen parties, family get-togethers, and more. All parties are fully catered by Jo, serving delicious homemade food and refreshments, locally sourced wherever possible. Our devotion to exceeding guests’ expectations is at the heart of all we do, so whether you plan to stay for a day or wish to make a weekend of it, you can be sure that your occasion will be extra special.
